【开发日记】GAME FREAK创立18周年

我是 GF 的增田。
昨天，我从纽约回来了。
哎呀——坐14个小时的飞机，真够辛苦的啊……
现在还在时差反应中，整个人昏昏沉沉的。
不过——今天也要精神满满地开始！！
今天，4月26日，是 GAME FREAK 的创立纪念日！
没想到已经18周年了！！！
先来分享一个令人高兴的消息！
听说在纽约举办的 Pokemon DIAMOND & PEARL 发布会，
大约有6000人到场！太厉害了！感谢大家！
美国时间22日的活动也在 pokemon.com 上进行了在线直播，
没想到！一天之内的访问人数竟然达到了18万6千人！
也就是说，全世界有18万6千人观看了活动！
太厉害了！太感谢了！太高兴了！谢谢大家！
另外，听说还有人在 YouTube 上传了当时排队购买《宝可梦 钻石·珍珠》的队伍情况。
据说视频是从队伍末尾（从48街到49街，几乎绕了一圈）一直拍到入口的。
他们还真会做有意思的事！
Joystiq 这个网站也拍摄并播放了活动现场的情况。

我希望通过这样的活动，
能让更多人哪怕只是更深入地了解一点游戏！

増田＠GFです。 昨日、NYから戻ってきました。 いやー、１４時間飛行機って辛いっすね。。。 時差ボケでボケボケです。 しかーし、今日も元気に！スタート！！ 今日、４月２６日はゲームフリーク創立記念日です！ なんと１８周年！！！ そこに嬉しいニュースを！ NYで行われた、Pokemon DIAMOND & PEARL launch partyには 約６０００人の方が来てくれたそうです！すごい！感謝！ 米国時間２２日のイベントはpokemon.comでもストリー ミング配信されましたが、 なんと！そのアクセス数は１日で１８万６千人に上ったそうです！ ということは、世界中の方、１８万人が見てくださったということ！ すごい！ありがたい！嬉しい！感謝！ また、NINTENDO WORLDでダイヤモンド・パールを購入しようと並んでいた人たちの様子が YouTubeにアップされていたそうです。 最終列（４８丁目から４９丁目までほぼ一周）から入り口までを撮っているそうです。 面白いことしてくれます！ ジョイスティックというサイトでもイベントの様子を撮影して流してます。 Joystiq at the Pokemon launch party in NYC でサーチしてみてください。（マスダモイマミマシタ） こういうイベントを通じて、 多くの方々にゲームのことを少しでも深く理解してもらえれば！！と思っていますし、 モノ作りの楽しさだけでなく、イベントの楽しさ、発表の楽しさを知って、 より作り手になりたい！という人が１人でも多くなって貰えると、すごく嬉しいです。 そして、こういうポケモンというゲームソフトを通じて何かを感じてくれたら、と願っています。 では！查看官方英文版
It’s Masuda @ Game Freak. I came back from New York yesterday. It’s such a pain to sit in a plane for 14 hours… My head is blurred because of jet-lag. But, I’ll start again today! Refreshed!! Today, April 26th, is the anniversary of Game Freak’s foundation! This year it’s the 18th anniversary!!! Then came the pleasing news! I was told that about 6000 people came to the Pokemon Diamond & Pearl launch party held in New York! Great! Thanks! The event held on April 22nd (US time) was also streamed at pokemon.com, and the hit counts were 186,000 in one day! That means, people all over the world, more than 180,000 people, have watched it! Unbelievable! Grateful! Excited! Thanks! Also, I heard there are videos on YouTube about people waiting in line for the release of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl at NINTENDO WORLD. The video shows the waiting line, from those at the end of the line (almost covering the entire 48th and 49th St.) to those at the entrance. They sure did an interesting thing! Also, you can watch the videos about the event on a site called Joystiq. Search ‘Joystiq at the Pokemon launch party in NYC.’ (I myself just checked it out) By having these events, I hope that more and more people begin to understand our games a little bit more deeply. Also, I’d be much pleased if we could tell people about not only the fun of creation, but the fun of having an event and of launching a product, so that more people, even if it’s not too many, are interested in becoming a creator.
